Somadance “Boundaries Dancing your Edges”

  • Alchemy Space 10075 West River Street Truckee, CA, 96161 United States (map)

Somadance is a guided journey through movement — beginning in stillness, opening into free, expressive dance. We start by settling the nervous system through breath and gentle, intuitive motion.

Then the music builds, the space opens, and you move however your body needs to move. No steps. No choreography. Just you, following sensation.

Each Somadance moves with the season you're living in — drawing on the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, and the wisdom of conscious movement traditions from around the world. It's a practice as old as humanity itself, and as immediate as this moment.

As the journey completes, the music softens and slows, guiding you gently back to stillness — back to the ground, back to the breath, back to yourself. What was shaken loose has settled.

What was dim is lit again.Come to release. Come to regulate. Come to remember what it feels like to be fully alive in your body. You'll leave lighter, clearer, and more yourself.

No experience necessary. All bodies welcome.
