On Friday, April 19th, 2024, we will be celebrating the 81st anniversary of the first intentional LSD trip (April 19, 1943) by Dr. Albert Hofmann and the flourishing of love and insight that has blossomed since that transcendental day. We welcome the community to come out to connect with the community, nature, and good vibes in this four-part event
FREE and Open to All:
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Ski / Ride in costume @ Palisades - meet up at Funitel and leave the base at 10AM. *If you need an IKON ticket, we have a few FREE and 50% off passes. Email info@tahoepsychedelic.org
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Silly Bike Ride and River Hangout @ Truckee River Footbridge; (East River Street, Truckee); arrive early, stay later, bring fun, be safe; we will bike along the Legacy trail
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Talk and Q&A with Casey Hardison, Formerly Incarcerated LSD Chemist @ Dark Horse Coffee Roaster, Truckee, CA @ Dark Horse Coffee Roaster. Space is Limited - Donations Appreciated)

Do I need a pass? Yes. You need an IKON pass. Unless you have a season pass - they are a bit pricey. You can grab a discount pass from people with a season pass. We have a limited amount of FREE tickets and 50% off tickets. Email info@tahoepsychedelic.org with IKON pass in subject line
Where will we meet? A group of people will meet at the Funitel at 10a. People will be there before and after - but if you're looking for a party lap - meet at the Funitel at 10a. We will start boarding the Funitel at 10a. (Link to location)
Silly Bike Ride along Truckee River
Do I need a ticket? Nope. This is a community bike ride. Come, connect, and have fun.
What should I bring?
Psychedelic costume - bike and costume contest at 4PM at Truckee River Footbridge
Decorated bicycle; If you just want to hang out at the river -- that's also cool
Snacks, water, sunscreen, hat / sun glasses
Bathing suit/towel if you're up to swim in the river
Something to share with others (i.e. Burning Man gifting vibes)
Where should I park?
Where will we meet? We will meet at the Truckee River Footbridge on East River Street in Truckee, CA.
I don't own a bike. Can I still hang out? If you just want to hang out at the river -- that's also cool. That's where we will base camp.
What is your sun/rain weather plan? This event is a go rain, sleet, or snow.
Will food or drinks be available? Please be radically self-reliant. There will be time between things to grab food in town.
This is a leave-no-trace event - or better yet, leave-a-positive-trace event. You can help out by picking up your trash and picking up any trash you find. We will have bags and gloves if you would like to join the clean-up crew :)
If you plan on bringing food / snacks / drinks to share - please label your food including any ingredients. Please do NOT provide any controlled substances - that's bad m'Kay?
Do you have art you want to share? Great. Please do! If you want to let us know, that's cool. Just plan to clean up after you're done.
Where is the bike ride? We will start at the Truckee River Footbridge and bike along the Truckee River Legacy Trail. Go as far or as short as you want.

Do I need a ticket? Nope. This is a first-come, first-served space. We are limited to 60 people so arrive early.

Will food or drinks be available? Dark Horse will have drinks and snacks available.
After-party with DJ Rambo
Do I need a ticket? Yes. This is the ticketed part of the event. Get your ticket here!
How much do tickets cost? $25 in advance. $30 at the door.
Are tickets refundable? Tickets are non-refundable but you can transfer/gift your ticket. Give your QR code and name to your friend and we will give them the braclet.
How do I get my wrist band? You will be able to pick your wrist band at either the footbridge, the talk, or at the front door of the show. You will need your ID or the QR that comes with the ticket.
Will there be food and drinks? Yes! We will have food and drinks available for purchase. As well as an offering of chocolate by SoliBar.

Can I join without buying a ticket? Absolutely! However, tickets are required for the DJ Rambo show, and ticket holders will receive a special gift.
If I donate, does that count as a ticket? We are space-limited at Mountain Lotus - so while donations are appreciated, they will not get you into the show.
I want to volunteer. Who do I contact? Email info@tahoepsychedelic.org with TPS Volunteer in the subject line. We need your help to make this event a success! Volunteers also get a free ticket. We have a handful of volunteer tickets available so reach out ASAP. Distributing flyers, day of event support, clean up, outreach, safety / first-aid

Casey Hardison
Casey Hardison is a former incarcerated LSD chemist committed to Cognitive Liberty, Bodily Integrity, Harm Reduction and Benefit Maximization. As an interdisciplinary practitioner, committed listener, difference maker and visionary, he sees the possibility of a world that works for everyone with no one and nothing left out.
Casey is inspired by a great thought of Albert Hoffman: “All this talk of a war on drugs, what about drugs to end wars?”

Versed in the ways of the get-down sound, Rambo specializes in sonic vibrations imported from intergalactic dimensions to the depths of the psychedelic soul.
